Context
Youth unemployment is a national and Europe-wide problem that has strongly affected young people in recent years. This phenomenon can lead to the social exclusion of young people, making it much harder for the unemployed. At the same time there is a need for new skills to deal with environmental problems. Self-employment and the creation of new companies requires not only the skillset of entrepreneurship but also the ability to recognize opportunities relating to the environment and sustainability. The development of green jobs is essential for the present, and future, of Portuguese youths and this project is designed to be innovative and develop good practices with a strategic alliance of partners from Portugal, Norway and Iceland.
